Our Recovery Process
A clear, professional process for identifying, verifying, and recovering overage refunds that may remain after foreclosure and tax-sale auctions.
01. Identify
We identify potential refunds through public records.

Â
FOUND researches public auction, county, and court records to identify overage funds that may remain after a foreclosure or tax-sale auction. We review the sale information, ownership history, and available records to determine who may have a potential claim.
02. Verify
We do the research before asking you to act.

We review the available records, auction results, ownership information, and supporting documentation to verify the funds and identify the potential claimant. We explain what we found so you can make an informed decision about your options.
03. Guide
We coordinate the process from claim review through recovery.

If you choose to proceed, FOUND coordinates the Agreement of Interest and required documentation. Your claim is then submitted to an attorney who handles the legal review and claim processing through recovery. FOUND remains involved throughout the process, providing guidance, coordination, and communication.
Important Disclosures
FOUND is a trade name of Yazoo Legacy LLC. FOUND is not a government agency or law firm and does not provide legal advice or guarantee the recovery of funds. Eligibility and recovery depend on the applicable records, claims, liens, court or county requirements, and other circumstances. Claims that proceed are submitted to independent legal counsel for legal review and claim processing. If funds are recovered, the attorney receives and distributes the funds. FOUND operates on a contingency fee based on the amount recovered, with no upfront cost. The fee and terms are disclosed and agreed to in writing before services begin. Attorney fees and costs are included within the agreed fee, and if no funds are recovered, no fee is owed.
